Gear Checks for instances.

Lately, there have been multiple people that will queue up and enter an expert level dungeon and then immediately switch to spiritbonding gear that is below the ilvl to get into the dungeon. Some people even put on crafting gear and expect the other 3 people to carry them through. Is there any way for a gear check to be implemented that could check the current iLvl/battle gear? Maybe give them one chance to switch to actual gear and if they do not kick them from the group.

Anyone else been seeing these people in dungeons lately?

Yah I don't get these people...if they want to spiritbond gear they can put up a SB party in PF and go spam Turn 3...or at least spiritbond ilvl70 stuff that matches your job...maybe just bond a couple of accessories? Don't assume you're going to get a team of overgeared vets that can carry your undergeared ass. These same people will bitch if there's a wipe as well. You don't think that maybe it was the result of your SB gear gimped cures not being enough to keep the tank afloat?

I usually talk or heal in instances. I tell them put their real gear on or I'll sit there doing nothing

The only time SB in dungeons is going to cause a wipe is if people just refuse to do the place normally. Nowhere is it stated that you MUST pull everything in a dungeon at once. If pulls are normal sized, a few accessories aren't going to hurt you. Sure, you don't want a tank in nothing BUT SB gear, but I've never seen that happen anyway.

Most of the potency is in the weapon. If these guys are toting a i100-110 weapon around in WP or AK for instance, you'll be just fine as long as you don't get crazy.
