You sound like a real great friend. All right so I have a question. a few months ago I brought a friend into the game and i am still currently paying for said friends account. and well after a few moments of differences in opinion. said friend drops guild and bails out to another.. im so peeved by this shady act that im tempted just to have the account terminated. but i want to know what others may do in my shoes if possible. so my question would you like me be thinking of canceling the account?
I have decided thank you all
Take it to Judge Judy.
I helped found a FC and it has taken a turn for (IMHO) the worst by requiring tithing of its members above the focus of fun and community. I have since left that guild and started my own. I dont know what you have as "rules" for your FC but I cant say I blame him if they dont match his concept of how the game should be.
That said, i think if you remove all payment options then transfer all the account info over to him then it will be up to him to continue playing. only fair if you arent playing together anymore.
EDIT: lol i just read the rest of the thread and sounds like you already figured out what you are doing. best of luck!
That's the trouble with these kind of "tell me what to do..." Type things.
Often the asker has already made up their mind and is not actually asking for advice, but rather validation for the decision they've made.
I know it sounds harsh OP but....
Shit or get off the pot, do what you're going to do and deal with the fallout as best you can, that's all anyone here could really give you as "advice".
Let your friend keep his account, but make them have to pay for it. People change guilds all the time. So, either he didn't like where they saw the guild going, or just didn't care for it. It's their call. But, if that upsets you, then save yourself the dough and stop paying their sub. Let them keep their account though.
That said, just closing their account on them would be kind of a douche move.
This thread was the time between the actual sh**ing and getting off the pot though. :PThat's the trouble with these kind of "tell me what to do..." Type things.
