Gonna point out that vou can access CT at i50 and that gives out i80 gear. Higher than the dungeon loot

Of course you can;t get there with pre-endgame accessories but the Marketboard have some crafted gear (early endgame crafted gear is i55, but of course if you are fully decked out in 55 gear accessories you should probably be able to do the chimera right away)

Couldn't he do hunts and buy the myth pieces? They're like worth 2-3 full A credit a piece.

Unlock hunts (pretty easy to do, just finish your Grand Company progression) and then join a Hunt group. In about 2-3 hours you'll have enough seals to outfit yourself in i90 gear. Full credit on a single A-rank is basically enough for 1 piece of jewelry.

Don't forget to unlock Hunts at your Grand Company.

You can buy myth gear with Allied Seals. While hunting Elite marks is the fastest way to get Myth armor, the 7 you get from daily bills is enough to get 1-2 pieces a week.

Don't even have to unlock them unless you want to do the daily/weekly.

Buy the level 55 pvp accessories off the market board.
