Desynthesis Story

This may sound stupid but...

I was leveling my Alchemist Desynth by farming Ifrit HM weapons for Summoner.
Without realizing, I already had an Ifrit Weapon in my Armory Chest.
I panicked because what if the loot drops the same weapon? I won't be able to obtain it.

So, I decided to desynth the Ifrit Weapon in the place where you fight him. (I forget the name)
I saw the success rate was only around 60-ish percent.
At the heat of the moment-no pun intended- I desynth it.
It was a success! And I obtained three Demimateria of the Inferno from the Summoner Book.

Then I started to think...(theory incoming),

"Maybe if you desynth at the place where you obtain the book, the power of the primal standing before you will increase the primal Demimateria drop rate from the book, or maybe even the yield?"

That was my first time desynthing that book.
Perhaps it was hardcore luck? Perhaps it was the power of the primal that increased the rate by a little(or a lot) that allowed me to obtain the Demimateria of said primal?

I don't know... I just wanted to share this story, lol.
I guess I try it more often when I get a chance.

Another nifty tip: dunno if it works on the head parts, but if you desynth one of the new i70 mainhand tools you can get up to three Mastercraft demimateria.

Well Grade 3 and Masterdemimaterias are indeed rare and the very few that appears on market are over expensive
