It's unfortunate, but it is situations like this that lead to players not getting to have nice things. After I died, my first thought was "Why is it even possible to trade with me in combat?". After thinking about it, I realized that since the system is currently this way, there are probably people who are used to being able to trade mid-combat now (for legitimate reasons), and it would be unfair for them to lose that ability because people abuse it for their own needs. That said, now that this has happened I can also understand why SE would block it.

That said, it says a lot about my server (Balmung) that I have, up until now, never blisted someone before. I've got at least a few hundred hours into the game, and besides some overly snarky comments and cutscene watcher booting in duty finder, I really haven't run into anything as bad as this before. So I certainly have no intention of letting this one phase me

had a problem today myself, I could of sworn it was on purpose.

I was doing my book haukk manor boss, the spawns popped and I was the only one trying to grab the adds cause im a tank, though the dps monk did not help at all when I died and the healer died and the blm died.

he then killed the rest of the adds and did LB bar 2 and I didn't get credit for my book.

I asked why would he do that he left.

He says oh expecting blm to lb 2, though that wasn't a excuse because fact is we didn't have a lb 2 we had a lb 1 and the blm was dead. I couldn't grab all the aggro.

If you die on a book boss and no chance of rez before it dies, release as being alive will net you credit.

Had some guy sight pulling mobs into my aoe while I was soloing alex map the other day. Both fairy and choco pulled hate and died. I ended up winning with 2 seconds left on the clock. Not sure if I should have reported him or not, I didn't.

That's a massive **** move and I do hope those guys get banned for that.

I've fought guild-invite spam using trade-window spam to counter-troll in certain F2P games, but shafting someone during normal gameplay when they've done nothing to you is utter bollocks.

Kind of unfortunate the busy trick is necessary, but at least its an option. My B-List is completely full up with gil-spammers that have never been dealt with, so that solution wouldn't be ideal, but eh.

Wow. That's just... Wow. The courteous thing they should have done was ask what you were killing in the area and offer to help. The sooner you killed the quest objectives for your Relic the sooner you would have left. Though it seems to me that they were there to intentionally harass people.

I wish there was a zero tolerance policy in place for obvious douchebag actions like that. Instant ban since... there's no valid explanation behind it.

You can probably clear 90% of the names from the blacklist. Banned chars aren't deleted so they'll remain on your list not become [Deleted].

I'm sorry this happened to you, Gana Gati. Like you, I may only have a handful of actual players on my blacklist. I love the Balmung community, despite the occasional douchebags running around.
