What's so hard to comprehend in that the amount of people necessary for the hunt is the 4-8-24 depending on the mark's rank and no one is forced to wait on anyone else. People's action are purely based on greed and selfishness.

If they were 4/8/24 people only, the system wouldn't be the way it was, the devs clearly said they made it this way so more people could get credit if they showed up.

They are not forced to wait even if people may come. Forcing people to wait because you want a share is being entitled.

If someone found a vein of gold near where you live and it would be on the news, would you be mad that he wouldn't have waited on you so you could have your share because you know, obviously people will show up if there is something to be obtained ?

You're right, they aren't forced to. But it is courteous to do so.
Also your analogy is terrible, Gold is a finite resource, Allied Seals can be earned by everyone that is there and takes part.
If they had waited for the group to show up, everyone would had gotten credit, no harm would have come from doing this. This is where the difference lies.

If people pull the things they do if you don't wait for them, they aren't worth the courtesy to begin with. And the analogy is a reference to wanting something you clearly aren't needed for but still wanting it so it still stands.

the thing is you dont realise alot of ppl are tired of getting crap credit, me and my friends have waited, alowed pl to show up but instead of getin full cred we get crap, it dies so fast that we just cant get enoughdmg in, alot of ppl are tired of waitin for these hunts to spawn, alot of ppl are tired of having thier hunts steamrolled becuase of these large grps

Then you clearly weren't putting in enough effort. That isn't the groups fault, that is your own. If the huge groups can all manage to get full or mostly full credit in every hunt (and the majority of them do) then that's all on you for not being able to manage it too. I can still manage to get full credit in parties of 4 at hunts, and on my tank I can get full credit solo at times.

A lot of people in this thread need to learn this phrase.
When it's common practise on a server to do things a certain way, you should go along with that and if you choose not to, then don't cry about the repercussions because you ignored it.

That's actually interesting, do you know why? because in this case Rome is the game, you're playing the game, a game that has its mechanics design, which isn't designed to get zerged by everyone. You're not doing what "Romans" are suposed to do in "Rome".

And technically, the Romans would be the NPCs.
So I guess I'll just camp in town and ask everyone that walks by to go talk to you and then come back and inform me that they did in fact talk to you. Or have them check that the crates I'm standing next to are in fact still there.
