Uh I don't think that is selfish at all, unless the big group was the one who found the elite in the first place, people can share if they want to, if you try to force it that's no longer sharing.

If a small group of people managed to get the A to half before a well coordinated TS/LS notices it says a lot about the effort your members are putting.

Anyways, sharing is cool, but doing the hunts as they were originally intended to be done is also cool.

If your thought process is "I know there's probably a lot of people that are on the way to this, but screw them I want this for myself" Then yes, I see nothing wrong with selfish behaviour being punished.

I'd call it more selfish you wanting full credit on an elite you didn't find.
