Ever feel like you have to much stuff to do?

Sometimes I feel like I have way to much stuff to do and not enough time to do it. How does everyone else feel about this? I feel it would be much better if I could actually do some of these at the same time but normally you can't because of special requirements or it's just incredibly time consuming.

Not really. Because the rewards from all of the above will be obsolete next patch.

It's a start having lots to do, the challenge is giving all of them a decent reward.

Yes, it sure feels that way sometimes.

I find only doing one of those things the few hours I play a day helps progression with them all. For example I only gather and craft on sundays due to none of my fc mates being on during that day.

I 'always' run into this problem.

Work on master gearing my gatherer? My crafter? SB more materia for the meldings? Finish the gathering achievements? The crafting? Run around grabbing unspoiled nodes? Try and further deck out my FC room?
Or switch focus to combat? Run dungeons for tomes? ST for weekly drop? Finally bother with EX's? Continue Animus book? Hit the daily marks? See if elite marks aren't terrible at the moment?
Run FATE's/dungeons to level lower classes? Try and better gear my other 50's?
Maybe work on desynth? Gather mats to raise the main, or work on second/third desynths? Spam for demi's, or push to raise skill with 1stars?

And I haven't even bothered to 'start' the sightseeing log yet, was waiting for the groups of people to stop standing around the target locations. Kinda kills the mystery XD.
Thankfully the challenge log just kind of happens alongside everything else, but still...

I think its amazing how much stuff there is I took 3 months out and coming back to ex primals, new coil, DOH/DOL gear, beast tribes and so much more I do on a daily basis.

Remember you play this game to have fun not as a job or obligation to complete A B and C before D E and F arrive.

Actually, at the moment I don't really feel like I have much to do anymore, outside of doing hunts, doing ST until I get the loot drop I want each week, and map mining & treasure hunts.

*Finished my main job's Novus. Never doing that again for any other job until it's less time consuming and cheaper/free. Once was enough. Glad I have it though.

*Roulettes, not really that important now that I've finished my Novus. Can get myth faster via Hunts.

*Already had all beastman tribes to full rep long before 2.3 hit. I did still do beastman dailies after for a few months as it was another way of getting myth, sold, venture tokens, and companion exp.

*Chocobo hit Rank 10 before 2.3, but due to no idea how to make the Onions needed to advance it in a chocobo stall, can't go beyond Rank 10. (I don't get gardening, and not enthused to do so).

*I'm really not all that interested in doing Coil. Interested in the story, sure (I can Youtube that), but not going through the tedium of finding capable teammates only to spend months learning everything in each individual turn to finally reach the end. And for what? A weapon with slightly better base stats than what I have? Honestly the only thing that would be useful for me would be the i110 caster ring. Though I suppose if I was actually doing coil I would need quite a bit of the gear that drops there in order to up my Accuracy to the required levels.

*Crafting.. I want to get into, but it's just so boring, costly, and not really fun.

*Spiritbonding, meh. I do it sometimes, but never because it's fun to do.. because, it's not.

*Challenge Log. I like the idea, and it's fun. I never do everything in it, but I actually like this. You just wont catch me going out of my way to complete everything every week.

*Sightseeing Log was interesting the first week it was out. I even really tried to get several of the locations. Though due to how frustrating it is to wait on the required weather just to get a completion even if you find the right area to go to.. it's just too much of a hassle. Not nearly as fun to explore as it should be, when you actually get to the place you're suppose to go, but then have to wait hours just to get the credit? No thanks. I ended up stopping this as it just wasn't as fun as it should have been.

*Glamour Grinding? I don't even know what that is. Seriously, what does that mean?

*Leveling alternate classes. Well.. I pretty much have everything I want to level leveled to 50. Going to wait for Rogue/Ninja before I get my tanks to 50, and then I'll level Rogue/Ninja after that, or maybe even at the same time.

*I've finished all available quests in the game now, so there's no more of that to do.

*PvP: Just not a PvP player. /shrug I have only PvP'd in about 3-5 MMOs and have only actually enjoyed it in 1 of them and that was largely due to the fact that my RL friends played that game with me and I could PvP with them and talk to them while doing so in voice chat. Also that particular game's PvP was set up so that it played like an actual game and wasn't just a gankfest or slaughter grounds.

There are things I could/should be doing, sure, but I am not really feeling the drive to do them. Those are:
Coil
King Mog (Ex). Tried this with a few different groups, the one's that actually got close was with some friends and due to a misunderstanding I accidentally ruined our best attempt and haven't really felt like trying again since.
Leviathan (Ex). Haven't even attempted this yet.
Ramuh (Ex). Not unlocked because of the above two.

Honestly though, none of those I really need to do at all. I gain nothing from them for my main job (except stated items from 2nd coil) and my main job is what I would be going to do them as.

So yeah.. I'm kind of just waiting for 2.35 and 2.4 for more content that I actually enjoy doing.

I just do whatever the mood strikes me. The way I see it, having so much to do just means I have more options and there's always something when I'm bored of everything else.

With that logic, you won't do anything next patch either because the patch after that will make the 2.4 stuff obsolete as well.
In short terms, you never actually play the game "because it will be obsolete next patch".
