Please re-evaluate the difficulty of previous endgame content on the DF

Many of the older endgame encounters on DF (Extremes, Turn5) are arguably too difficult for successful completion even with the full echo buff. A majority of DF parties I've been in have not succeeded even when making earnest attempts till the time has run out. The game, as a DF player, flirts a bit too much with being "not worth it" the way it is now.

I'd like to think the Duty Finder is not just a tool for getting practice, but a way to experience the game's content in a more casual way without all the politics that come with Free Companies.

A way to extend DF time would also be nice. So many times a DF group hammers out all the mechanics just to run out of time.

EDIT:

Adjust the difficulty of the mechanics in content just because you haven't learnt it, isn't the way to do it.
The development team spent a lot of time designing, adjusting and even nerfing the original version of the fight for it's 2.0 release, why should they go back and adjust the work they've put into the fight by removing it "Just so people can beat it".


It doesn't matter how old the content is, reshaping the fights mechanics just because people have yet to finish it, is completely ridiculous.



Everyone has the opportunity to grab 7 other people and or join 7 other people in order to learn/beat or be taught the fight.


There are plenty of options available to you, reshaping the fight to be a DPS server is not one of them.

I recommend opening your 'Party Finder' and looking for either a T5 party, or starting your own T5 'learning' party. (VoIP would be handy if you're learning)

Just like the above post states, they even added a 20% stat increase for the entire party to help expedite the fight and aid your learning process.

No, the problem is they're not working. They choose not to put forth the required effort, it's really that simple. Being casual doesn't make you a bad player. Being hardcore doesn't make you a good player by the same token.

I definitely agree we should be able to increase duty time. Let us call a vote to extend duty time by 30 minutes or what have you, I don't see why that shouldn't be possible.

Except that's exactly what DF is for with difficult content.
By asking for old fights to be toned down/made easier, you are literally asking for free/easy clears. Which is a handout.
You are saying "I want what everyone else has but I don't want to put the effort in that everyone else did."

Well good news for you, Yoshi-P did say that they are looking to possibly nerf T5 more to make it more accessible for players who still want to complete it.

The primals, I doubt they'll do anything to change. =/ The only difference I see is that Coil has a story behind it, while the primals really don't, so I think the devs want everyone to be able to experience the story.

Japanese players would like to have a word with you. All DF content is easily cleared in DF, it's the players themselves that make it difficult.

The content was already nerfed to the ground compared to the original dificulty. In all honesty, people is playing MMORPG's like they play flash games in their ipads/cellphone. They think they only need to shake it fast enough and the score will go up. This BS about "being casual" are way overusued to justify bad gaming skills. People think that to be able to play properly a game they have to be non-lifers in order to learn that they're supposed to move out from Reds and that every 10sec the boss will use certain spell. I have two and half hours for raid during the week, so I can call myself casual, and my group and I finish the new coil in less than one hour. So, seriously, this game can't get easier. People need to start using their brains (and I hate to give this sort of advice, but many players really ask for it.).
