Final fantasy XIV on a Surface Pro 3 (i3)

    hi everyone!
i'm about to buy a sp3 i3 and i was wondering if i would be able to play final fantasy xiv on it. An another thing, is it possible to run ffxiv from a microsd or an external hard drive?

I already have a computer to run ffxiv smoothly so this would be more like to play in a very rarely ocasion (i already know that the gaming experience will not be good)

    thanks

FFXIV;ARR runs on the original Surface Pro and also the Surface Pro 2.

The perfromance isn't fanstatic on the Surface Pro but it's enough.

I've personally played it on one and it wasn't too bad actually.

    thanks for answering so fast.
the thing is that both the surface pro and the surface pro 2 use a Dual Core Intel Core i5
and the surface pro 3 that i'm about to buy is an i3 with 64 gb

Step 1) download Steam on a desktop beefy enough to fun XIV with all bells + whistles.
Step 2 ) Add non steam game to steam (FFXIV in this case)
Step 3 ) install Steam on Surface 2
Step 4 ) on Surface 2 Steam, click FFXIV and click "Stream"

You can play XIV on any tablet which runs steam. Downside is you need your PC on and running steam/xiv, upside, you're not restricted by videocard/cpu of the surface.

Another downside is that if you have crappy upload rates at home is not going to work well.
