Being how Ninja is the next job @ 2.4 AND they've stated 3.0 will have a new healer and tank....
I'm thinking the gun Job will be one of these, perhaps utilizing gunblade as a tank (but that doesn't fully fit with the dual gun depiction they've consistently given us)
Not really sure which iconic Healer class/job they're going to go towards, but I'm looking forward to trying it out!

I want a blue mage type job, would even think it could be a tank depending on how they managed it. Gun Mage, however, could fit into the dual gun depiction nicely and I would be happy with that too!

"Welcome to the ranks of the blue mages. However, at this moment you are but an empty vessel--a base creature, weaker than the most ordinary mortal. A blue mage must wrest her strength and vitality from her enemies. Show me your hunger for unrivaled power! This is the only guidance I shall give you."

    Another freaking DPS.. :(

I'm sorry another DPS? Really do we need that? I know the rogue is a classic backstab dps, but I think we can ignore this aspect with a simple high evasion skill set and make this a tanking job, ala ffxi.

Another Tank job(even though FFXI style) is way better for variety than another DPS.

I can imagine moves like "acrobatics" that cause mobs to miss, but with added feature of increasing enimity the more mobs miss. So rather than "damage based" enimity and new game mechanic emerges. Maybe, roll-outs away from mobs or more AOE stabs like baulders gate?

PLEASE, no consumed ninja items. I despised this aspect in FFXI. GREAT for crafters, made this the most expensive jobs to level except maybe ranger in FFXI.

Another thing, NO freaking death/bomb moves. So freaking lame to be weaken in fight.. did anyone actually bother with this move? I'd much rather have a naruto "substation" move were the mobs continue to attach a wooden decoy then blowing myself up.
