    I'd also love to see some some sort of magical cloning/doppelganger ability that improves as you level (additional clones). This would give the class a very different feel from existing tanks by allowing the mage tank to still have low HP, but when the character "dies," it's just a doppelganger that dies, and a replacement or the original steps in and takes its place with full HP. It would also give the devs a place introduce truly unique features for the class. As an example, a doppelganger that acts in your stead makes you immune to instant death attacks (because it's just the doppelganger that dies), which could be key in difficult boss combats.

    I think it's a cool idea and I'd love to see it implemented.

    We need a hero job like holy knight, white knight, dark knight, aka thunder god etc.

    And a time mage what can cast mass haste on the raid, lowering their GCD to 1 ssecond....god that 2.5 second GCD on every skill really slows down fast pace pro gamers, without looking at skills bars back and forth.

    I would love to see a Heal Over Time based healer class. I miss my Resto Druid in WoW...
    Or, CHAIN HEALZ! Shamans also made fun healers.
    Hmmm... Geomancer healer base class with a couple HOTs and a chain heal. Splits into Druid and Shaman, both healers. Druid focus on HOTs and Shamans focus on chain heals. Both have a placable AOE heal retained from geomancer.
    But! Im just rambling. :3

    If Red Mage is Brought in... I'd want them too have 3 Stances that Suit a Role Each...

    "Book of the Black" Mid-Range/Melee DPS, Uses Spells and Fencing Lunges (Plus Sword Buffs) too Deal Damage.
    "Book of the White" Healing Stance, while in this Stance it's Spells are Replaced with Healing Abilities/Spells, Mid too Long Range Healer.
    "Book of the Artful" Tanking Stance, Avoidance/Parry based, Abilities and Spells give Increased Aggro and also Build Stacks of "Jest" that acts as a Debuff too reduce the Enemies Accuracy. Jest Falls off Relativly Quickly and as Such They are more Off-tanks then Main Tanks.

    But that's just me... And i Doubt Anyone Else Wants them as a True Hybrid Class.

    this one would be a little weird but i wouldn't mind seeing the morpher from fft advance come into play with the saints wake out and players could be turned into monsters show's that the game could handle it the player would turn into a monster and have some of the said monster abilities so they could fill alot of roles and not just the ff version of druid but they could be a buffer or a debuffer if se put some thought/work into it could be a possible job in the mix at some point just saying ^^

    I like the idea of the musketeer=>chemist healer route. That would combine guns and healing. I also agree that we do not need another DPS. Tank ideas, of course a dark knight, we already have Paladins as a Knight class, Warriors as a weapon class.... What about Barbarian/Wildman types? They could use clubs and 2-handed maces...
