    Let us make alliances outside of crystal tower.

    A feature from XI that I still can't believe it didn't make it to XIV. (along with beastmen seals, kindred seals, force pop NMs etc)

    Things like Odin, Behemoth, S-Rank hunts, FATES and pretty much anything where a number of people want to kill a specific mob in any zone would benefit greatly from having the ability to form an alliance and get the credit for the kill.

    Then they have to bring (back) real NM's with endgame rewards and a fight worth the reward. Basically Coil in open world. I don't see it happening.

    I made a post months ago to expand endgame content. Long story short: pop item in coil -> you pop an NM in the open world -> an arena now surrounds the party and the NM -> the fights start. Should you die (which you will the very first encounter), the boss randomly targets someone in the area and a new fight begins (the boss targets so we don't get another wave of FFXI's claim bots).

    They already said they were adding the ability to make preformed alliances.
