    Having troubles making it to Notorious Monsters in time?

    As an avid hunter myself, I can a test that sometimes it is difficult to make it to some of the Notorious Monsters in time making it extremely difficult to farm Allied Seals proficiently.

    With so many people out hunting, sometimes it can be aggravating to run a great distance only to find that the NM died just as you showed up. Even with the HP raised, these mobs still continue to die quite quickly.

    My solution to this problem is:

    Give an NM a 1 minute invulnerable upon spawning. This would alleviate the hastiness of some players and also allow other parties to have adequate time to make it.

    Gets old reading all the QQ's after every NM is killed because people didn't make it and throw blame on others. If each NM had a 1 minute invulnerable, it would be their own fault for not making it or finding it in time.

    There are a lot of really nice players that try and reset the NM when the "early puller" tries to flex his/her muscles, but it does not always work.

    Hopefully Tuesday's maintenance will address some of the many issues with hunts.

    I would like to see a set time of invulnerability when the hunt mob spawns. Even 5 minutes wouldn't be too long. There are 300 people hunting and the mob is normally dead by the time 1/2 the party gets there.

    Only issue I see is if there is a wait time built in there would be far too many people at the hunt. This causes the mob to not show up on the screen for a lot of players.

    nope, looks like they just removed doubling up on elite marks through the hunt board.

    They also increased the health points of the hunt marks, but that just means that a 10 second kill takes 15. I did the weekly hunt and called out a time. I actually didn't pull into one minute late and I still had people complain. There just is no right way to handle this.

    That's why I stopped calling out B ranks alot of the time. They're gonna complain either way, so why even let them know? i'll have my party or FC with me, and we'll make it simple. Sure i appreciate the shouts, but it's not required..so i don't get mad when i don't get there in time.

    maybe just change NM to green name npc, eveyrone talk to it and get rewards.
    ofcoz, it will stay on the map for n minutes after "pull", and a system message with <t> <pos> should be announced to entire server.
    It ensures everyone looking for NM will not miss it. ^^;

    You've lost me at "farming" ... that's not what the hunts (or any other part of the game like FATEs, ATMAs etc.) was desinged for.

    Except that some monsters aren't found the second they spawn.
    If someone finds it 2min after is spawned they can still pull it.
