Finding Registration Codes

I am a returning player who purchased at original release. I came back for the ARR update and want to play again.

I had the original FFXIV physical copy, but digitally downloaded ARR. I want to link to my steam account so I don't have to go through a bunch of trouble when I want to play again.

I can't find my keys displayed anywhere in my account info. I doubt I still have the physical box for the original release. I'm not sure if I got new keys with the ARR release. I've checked my email and nothing there either.

Halp? Where else can I look?

Check you SE account at the mogbox website, it should show the keys linked to the account.

No you don't have to buy the game again. As long as you purchased the 1.0 copy your code is still valid. Just look up your account on the mogstation and it should show that you have the game registered.

Yeah it's registered but it doesn't display the actual code.

I suppose a better question to ask is how do I add it to my Steam library?

The registration code might be somewhere in the SE account management site, not Mog station, where you change your password, email, address etc. since that is where it was entered originally.

You can't truly link a game not bought from steam to your steam account.

Yes, you can add a non-steam bought game to your steam game list but that acts merely as a launcher for those that want to launch everything from steam. It acts completely different from the game lists of steam bought games. It won't have stuff like game time tracker and such. You won't be able to reinstall the game from steam too, should you uninstall it from your pc one day.
To add a non-steam game, at the top left of the steam window, click on games. Then, click "add a non steam game to my library".

To add FF14 to steam proper, you need to buy a new copy from steam.
