Please no. If by 'coolest' you mean 'dumbest,' then sure. It made casters look like they were bored, just standing around in fights while violence occurred all around them while occasionally waving their hands around. It looked absolutely stupid.

Now, if they could keep their weapon hidden but still be in some sort of readied combat stance, I think that would be fine.

I just imagined a bunch of SCH and SMN standing around without books but our hands raised like we're running around just waiting to slap things...
