The average person knows dark matter in science is basically one of those things physicists invented to explain certain gravitational effects in space and such, in short. It's gotten almost a "cult classic" status as a do all/end all type of material because we actually have no proof it exists. So they used something from real life science that edges on science fiction, with a little spin? Right, FF series has never done that before /sarcasm.
Dark Matter is the sludge like residue that some from the fail of which oozes out of whoever is not me.
I don't use Dark Matter
I use Gath Glue, much better and very resilient.
You'll have to check Reinhart's translation thread, but I believe a JP rep said that the reason they used "Dark Matter" is related to the story, and it'll be explained eventually.
I vote we rename it to duct tape.
Yes I do have a My Little Pony sig because I'm not a complete loser who lives in his own little world, proclaiming something is stupid because I say so.
I belive the OP has has been blinded with science.
At least the name is more creative than "instanced raid."
We could call it "Bacon" and /thread.
