Crafting Balance Adjustments

In preparation for crafting balance adjustments forthcoming in patch 2.3, the effects of the blacksmith actions Ingenuity and Ingenuity II have been adjusted.

This was done in patch 2.2 and i wonder where is the adjustment you told us about back then? Can't be desynthesis since that doesn't have anything to do with Indenuity and i don't think the new tool that was added can be called an adjustment. Will the adjusment now come in 2.35 or will we never see it?

Ingenuity -used- to make the recipe's level drop to equal yours, and Ingenuity II made the level equal (your level -3). This made i70 recipes -phenomenally- simpler. The "adjustment" was a nerf plain and simple, to make Ingenuity and Ingenuity II give a flat decrease to the recipe's level instead of taking the new i90 recipes and making them temporarily no harder to make than a simple militia cuirass.

"Because new high level crafts will be added in the forthcoming patched we need to adjust Ingenuity and Ingenuity II." <--- Then they could have just writen something like this. The way they worded it makes it sound like they are planing to chance something on the crafting system itself and not that they are just planing to add more crafts with a higher level then before.

Ingenuity and Ingenuity II were, as originally implemented, severely unbalanced skills that made it impossibly easy to craft high-quality 2* items. Even if they never implemented the 3* tier, the skills were unbalanced and needed... wait for it... balance adjustments.

I hope you notice that you are just talking nonsense because what you say doesn't change the fact that they talked about a crafting balance adjustment in 2.3 and nothing happened in that patch. By the way new high level reciped don't count as balance adjustment.

The skills where adjusted in 2.2 and they said a crafting balance adjustmend in 2.3 is coming. Now show me what did they adjust in 2.3?

... I apologize, I seem to have misunderstood what you wrote. I'm not in that case entirely sure unless they meant "rebalance in preparation for new 2.3 content". I realize that's not what they actually wrote but they might not have wrote precisely what they meant.

Thats what i meant in my second post if they meant that they could have worded it another ways And since we can't be sure if they worded it the wrong way or if they just plan to do it in another patch since they are still not ready i decided to ask here in hope an answer will come.

If i remember my Patch 2.2 notes correctly. 2.2 only changed the wording of those two skills to prepare for the skill change in 2.3. So between the 2.2 patch and the 2.3 patch the skills were still unchanged. This might have been in a live letter before or around the time os the 2.2 as well. This is just what I remember reading.
