Riviera Banner not attachable?

Hello folks. Hopefully, someone here has dealt with this situation before.

We have a small FC house (Composite) in Mist. I have a Riviera Banner that I would like to replace the Riviera Placard with, but When I go to Housing>Remodel Exterior>Placard, the only option is to remove the one I have. Even if I do remove it, the banner (in my inventory) still doesn't show as usable.

Any ideas? Any help in resolving this situation would be helpful.

Yeah, you have to remove it - it's banner OR placard, not both.

I'm guessing you may be running into the same thing I did when we got our house - are you looking at the welcome sign outside, that shows which FC owns it, and the house name, and all that? That's not what's changing. The placard/banner hangs above your door, and has your free company crest on it (at least the placards do; I haven't looked at the banners in so long I don't remember if they do or not). Hope that helps! And if not, disregard this, and hopefully it gets fixed soon.

As far as I know, the way optional exterior fixtures work right now is that you can't even select or preview a new fixture until you completely confirm the removal of (and thus lose) the old one. The regular required fixtures like roofs and walls don't have this limitation, so I hope they fix this in the future.

Sorry for the late response. I got sick and was in the hospital.

Good news! The issue has been fixed! I now had no issues simply selecting the "above door ornament" from the list exactly how it should have been. Thank you both for your help
