    Making glamours job specific?

Maybe what I am asking for is impossible but I dislike the fact that when you glamour an item it's the same on every job that uses it.. especially now when for example all crafting jobs use Artisan's Spectacles.. like, what if I don't want them to look the same on every job, you know?

Minor issue I guess but I like looking fashionable.

I'd love this feature too since I like the crafter/gatherer class specific hats a lot better than the new generic i70 looks, but I think they've already said that doing this would hog too many resources.

Not gonna lie. I love the Miner shirt to death, and it is a shame I can't use it on other classes/jobs. But at the same time, I kinda understand why there are specifics like this. I hope that, someday, there'll be alternate versions of this gear that is "All Classes"-friendly, like they did with the Colosseum gear.

Not what I meant actually, I understand this job restriction thing and that's fine with me. What I meant is, for example, my Weaver and Culinarian both wear the Artisan's Spectacles. If I glamour the glasses on Weaver to look like a floppy flower hat, it will also look like a floppy flower hat on Culinarian. I'd like it to look like something else on Culinarian. :/

I understand, you want the option to say glamour the hat on 1 class or job and maybe glamour the oval specs on another class or job for the same item. I would love this idea because it would open up the idea to say glamour WHM AF or Myth on the royal set for WHM and SCH AF or Myth over the same set or maybe even come up with dialog when you change class/job asking if you want to keep the same glamour (this is just an example for clerification)

ofcourse I still think glamour slots on a separate tab would have been better than the current system and I don't buy the possibility of this being a PS3 limitation

So the fact that the game would have to use more memory to keep track of that second set of slots, and the PS3 is memory starved as it is, you'd still refuse to believe it was a PS3 limitation? Really now?

PS3 could take a vanity tab np, but it would use memory, memory SE is saving for more important things, so yes it is in fact a ps3 limitation.

I feel like in PvE, if you have the Job leveled up, you should be able to glamour from it. For example, if I want to use the ilvl 50 Fisher body on my SMN, I should be allowed to for having my Fisher up to 50. There really is no logical reason to restrict glamour in PvE, especially by class/job. At least make it by material or armor weight. Why can't I glamour the Woolen Shirt on my SMN? Just because it says DoW? Why is my SMN unable to put on a shirt, yet easily equips robes that weigh more than what BRDs and MNKs wear?

I made a few of the AF augments for my PLD forgetting that my WAR uses the same gear. If I glamored over the set with the PLD AF then it'd just be the plain soldiery set when I switched to WAR - which is ok, the set is fantastic, but I'll pass and just keep trying for the rest of the shared Divine War set. I hope sometime in the future we can assign glamors per job rather than only on the armor itself. (also, a catalog system like Diablo III's would be fantabulous).

Most ppl was expecting a vanity gear tab, then SE came with this thing a la wow and GW2 that limits our options a lot, but well what is done is done, now SE will have to work a lot to bring solution to this kind of problems, the way vanity works this will be hard to solve, same thing with 2-4 slots gear like odin armor and cowl robes, they may never fix it because of prioritization.
