That is such a good idea! =D When I get home, maybe I'll actually try some hunts with that set up. Thanks!
That would not be a nerf to the system. That would be a buff. I'm all for buffing the system so newer players and solo players have a feasible chance to get credit for elite hunts.
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!
How about the fact that Zerg mobs decimating every single hunt in no time flat with no challenge is nothing like how Yoshi envisioned the Hunt or what the Hunt system was designed to handle?
I kinda hope they change it to where the weekly elite mark can only be used to gain points for that week and killing it past it's use will grant nothing, no mytho/soldier/seals or change to drop those tomes. This way weekly marks can actually be used for casual players that don't have a lot of time on their hands rather than still be a target of focus since other players could still gain currency off them after killing them for their weekly mark.
Sands of time now require 15 logs. Better zerg now!
How will it? New players are still gated by weekly soldiery cap. So a cap on sands/oils would not have made a difference at all. Problem players have is that it invalidates other content. Why have oil and later sands in CT when ample quantities can be gained in a week of hunts. Why have limits of 2 oil 2 sands in coil when same applies there?
Very few are complaining they give oils/sands. The above reason is the issue.
The hunt system as is would have made more sense after the new tome currency was added and soldiery cap was removed. Just like when second coil was added and the myth cap removed.
I would not be surprised in the complete removal of Soldiery Tomes, and a significant reduction to myth rewards.
As well as a cap on the amount of purchase able items like bloody hunting logs to 2 a week.
Hunts will still be valued for the allied seals for glamor reasons, and the slower build up of ilv110 upgrades, and a supplement for additional myth gain (not an alternate form of myth gain)
It might be unpopular, but like I've stated many times before the rewards need to be balanced with other content in the game. Agree to disagree but it is the correct solution.
I just recently got into hunting and only have about 150 seals so far. I'm off this weekend. I'm doing nothing but hunts for the entire weekend just in case SE nerfs the hell out of the rewards or makes sands harder to get. I understand the need to make some changes but the cats out of the bag at this point. The people who took advantage of this since it released could have gotten full i110 or glamour gear already, but people just getting into it could possibly end up taking months to get the same if some suggested restrictions are placed on hunt.
This shouldn't be viewed as a negative, the rewards are currently unbalanced and need to be brought into line with the other content. The state of the game will be better in the long run the sooner SE takes action.
Daily seals increase and myth/ soldiery nerf to the ground.
