I think they're a little confused. Currently, you can only carry 4,000 seals at a time, which doesn't matter at all because you can easily trade them in at any point you want. The patch hasn't happened yet, so I think it's just a misunderstanding.![]()
I was confused.. xD typing in the morning is not my thing heh, i edited my post when i thought abut this before getting back up.
:P ignore me~!
^ This.. absolutely this! Could not agree more. There's little reason to nerf hunts other than to please the small minority of people who whine about them.
Some people really have the most absurd ideas about this matter. It's like they don't like them, so they want to make it completely worthless for anyone to do them either.
Probably the same subsect of people who complained about ST dropping UATs and i100 gear.
well, you make look like everybody love this feature when it's not true too. it's a bit like the people that was defending the abuse of AK with the reset of the monster. There's little reason to nerf hunts other than to please the small minority of people who whine about them.

the fact that the hunt can be really used by a small portion of the server it's a big flaws of the feature itself. why put a new feature means to be only used by a few?
just a reminder, since you seems to miss the point, the Rank B target was means for be done by solo player and rank A by 4 player. they had already the 30+ minute respawn timer... i'm sorry, but how can you release something like this knowing the states of the server of the game, they are most of it overpopulated, a lot of server even get character restriction more of 8-10 hours per day (if not more)
without look at this, it was only needed to look at what did happend to the start of the game (2.0) when the FATE was the best way to get exp, they was zerged most of the time. here they do the same mistake! give a huge reward, making the other content irrevelant, why run a dungeon as dps, when it's faster to get a few prey with no risk involved. (because when you attack at 16+ player a prey means to be kill by 4 player it's simply overkill)
people don't complain about the hunt, they complain about how they have add it. it was done poorly and was done simply for please the old generation of player coming from old game or FF11... without keep in line that FF14 is nothing close of this game.
anyway, the patch of the 29 will not break your instant gratification zergfest, don't worry. if they will really rework the system it will not before 2.35... but even this i'm not sure they will do it... because the piece of mind of other player outside japan have little to no weight and that what we did see with the last live letter, when the question was mostly based on japanese community.
i must look rude, but it's what i feel from all the stuff we have to accept. (like the fact that the live letter are still not translate in live, when people not professional was doing it, don't tell me is not possible)
i'm kinda tired of the lack of consideration for the people outside japan and i think i'm not the only one in this case.

I hope all of the people spamming for I110 itemization have nothing to do in 2.4 quite honestly.
Go do more hunts for Ninja. Burn yourselves out and leave so the rest of us can do it.
Is it really a game? Are you even having fun 'hunting' the monsters? The people say yes are either masochistic or blind.

As I get better at it, I actually kinda start to like it. My friends and I will get into VOIP and make a day of it at times, hunting together and just cracking jokes as we go, talking about life and socializing. That's perhaps been the best thing about this piece of content - it doesn't require a lot of concentration or focus. I can socialize with my friends, make stupid jokes, and just... play, without worrying about some rediculous mechanics that can one shot my entire party save 'do not stand in the giant red circle' and 'counter manuevers.' =p
I really want to make a drinking game for hunting, though...
Shouts about 'early' pulls? Take 1 shot.
'dead' call in LS without any calls? Take 1 shot.
Someone else gets a book drop? Take 1 shot.
Liver poisoning in no time. Great way to get wasted.
Wow.. bitter much? Sour Grapes my friend.... Sour Grapes.I hope all of the people spamming for I110 itemization have nothing to do in 2.4 quite honestly.

Kind of suspect this change will simply be the adjustment to ensure that the same weekly mark can't come up twice in a row...
GW2 Crown Pavilion.
They pretty much blew up the scaling to shaft zergs. If 6-10 people hit each boss simultaneously (and didn't derp), they could all to be brought down in ~10 minutes total.
When a zerg of 30+ people ran from boss to boss, the event could end up taking a bloody hour or more, causing everyone to get bronze rewards.
Granted, that's not even close to an ideal solution either, because you have to rely on everyone in the open world to behave in a particular way and you ultimately have no control over what everyone else does...
That's why I'm not too worried for the most part. People will burn out or have all they want in seals. The only people that will run it will be those that want to cap out on myth and soldiery, which I think shouldn't be a choice given how many rewards the hunts already give you.I hope all of the people spamming for I110 itemization have nothing to do in 2.4 quite honestly.

I ain't jelly of your gear, you'll just have nothing to do while I will.
I've gotten ~200 Allied Seals casually, and I plan on using them for Vanity so I can keep running other things to gear myself out at a reasonable pace. The people that rush and bitch about early pulls and such are playing the game to see a # in their character screen rise. So I hope that number doesn't move in 2.4 is all.
