While yes there are they're down falls in no way am I saying that it is something to be mandatory It would be nice though for players who do not have access to 3rd party but WANT to use voice chat, not for the people who DO NOT(such as yourself). As for the part of people making parties and raids that would then require you to use the voice chat. There already are said parties within game. I have been one of those people who joined up in a PF and then I was asked and instantly dropped when I responded that I did not have it. I would of been nice to say sure let me turn on the voice chat I'm sorry I do not have a mic but i can listen instead.
