Hunts unplayable on ps3(Yes another thread)

One thing is having a slight disadvantage in heavy movement fights like Titan EX due to some PS3 delay issues, and a very different story is entirely excluding a good bunch of the community from doing a certain content.

I would like to know, how many people in here that are asking the TC to buy a PS4/PC have actually bought their own PS4/PC with THEIR money

gonna bite here, my pc is entirely my own money, I work, even pay bills, I manage money, I walk to work which is 30 min each way and as a result, dont need a car <----- saves massive amount of money right there.

Hell even my GPU costs more then a PS4 outright, and guess what, shock horror, you can purchase the parts over time, like I did, I bought maybe 2-3 parts a month, when it came to my GPU got that last, took a few months to complete my system. Why others cant do this, boggles me.

And also, heres a question for you, so you have a PS3, which is a few hundred bucks, and you need a TV to play that on, which again is a few hundred dollars, why is it that you have these 2, yet complain about ps4 and PC purchases, again PC parts can be built over time, plenty of people do it. If its help you need, there are many websites and forums which can help you and even youtube videos, will say check out linustechtips videos if you need, some handy stuff there.

Because I use both the TV and PS3 for multiple functions. The PS3 is used for gaming, playing blu rays and Netflix/Amazon streaming. The TV is used to watch movies, shows, sporting events, play games.

A PC would have one single purpose: FFXIV. I couldn't even use it for work, as the program I use is Mac based (my current computer is a Mac). I'm not going to spend the time and money to build a system for the single purpose of playing one game. And I shouldn't be expected to.

Selective spending isnt the same as unable to afford equipment, selective spending is more of a personal thing then circumstances, this is down to you more then the game in this situation. What you spent your money on to start with is also your choice, again its your problem.

Eh i think if you have it for ps3 and are happy then your fine {prob forget about hunts} since sadly SE made them all about bum rushing. But yea when i played on ps3 fates were all ways slow {not the small ones} but lots of things about the ps3 feel slow and lag once i got a ps4 it was like 0 0 that's what iv been missing :P anyways good luck

I have PC and PS3 on my account, but I prefer playing on PS3 because I feel the movement and skill use is more efficient, but I'm not going to upgrade to PS4 because SE puts limits on PS3 users. I'm confined to dailies and weekly hunts. I've only done 1 B rank monster and that's when no one is there.

Loading is so weird just standing in one place and players are appearing. I feel the range of players visible should be more then the ones around me.

Even in Sycrus I don't load all the Alliances.

I have been playing hunts since day one and i feel very frustrated.I cant hardly reach any of them on ps3 because they die too fast and the maps load so slow.Are the devs aware of this?Are they gonna make some fix or what?Save your upgrade to ps4 or pc.Ill upgrade when they drop support on ps3

Get a PS4, or better, a PC. Probably solved.

Edit: For those wondering WHY this game was released for the PS3 it is because during 1.0 SE promised that it would be for PS3, and they do not go back on their word. That is the only reason; its like trying to play an xbox game on the N64, seriously just upgrade you will not regret it.

The fix is to build a PC.

Too many of these dumb threads, buying a console does NOT make you immune to the changes in technology. Live with it

This is a load of crap. If your product is built for a minimum standard then all aspects of your product should work on that minimum standard. If you are going to sell software for a platform it should work for that platform. Period.

and software evolves if it continues to go on for years and years, goes through updates, and the backend updates are designed so that the people working on the software have a easier time, minimum standard only works for the time being, those standards increase as time goes on. We are already reaching a year in this game, things are already evolving.

And yet this software is still sold for PS3, and the minimum specs have not changed since the launch of 2.0.

Once those things change then yes, the expectation for new content to work on old specifications is no longer valid. Thus, I stand by my original statement.
