its a r35 leve, with a r30 item, and at r31 i had a 90% failure rate with full support, and crafting gear.

I'm sorry but this is not a bug at all and you failing to succeed in the synthesis of items much higher then your actual rank is no surprise.

Local Levequests which recommend a rank or 35 means the actual rank of the crafted item is between 35-39 and if you are an experienced crafter, you will know attempting a synthesis with such a large rank difference is extremely difficult. My recommendation is that you research the item next time and simply not pick up leves which are too difficult for you. If you are unable to find out any information, you should simply assume that it is the max rank possible which is 4 ranks above the recommended rank listed.

Without even looking up the item in question, I can assume from memory what you were attempting to make were Cavalry Chain Coifs, a rank 39 synthesis. Not only is this item 8 ranks higher then your current rank it is an item which recommends two treatises, Hatting and Chainweaving Training which further increases the difficulty (there is an actual bug for 100% of double book crafts only displaying one type). I'm presuming developers know this of course and will be displaying such information properly with the synthesis changes made in 1.19.

I did make a post about the display of proper rank recommendations for crafting, similar to the displays of monster ranks in the synthesis menu to ease the amount of outside research it takes to simply craft in this game but that's a different story.

I can see why you would be posting not being able to complete the craft as a bug but unfortunately it is not always a 100% rate.
