Shared Private Rooms for Married Characters

I do not know if that has been suggested yet, or if it actually is already confirmed and in development. I just would really like to see this for married characters. It would be nice to share a private room with someone else where both characters can place furniture or change settings for the room.

What would happen if people break up? They eventually will in a virtual simulated enviroment. "Relationships" in MMO's rarely work out well, we all know that one person who did make it work, but in nearly every occasion it's meaningless flings and sillyness with no real future.

If real life is any example, fighting couples that need to divide their stuff is bad enough up to the point where it's not uncommon for law enforcement to step in. GM's are taxed enough as it is right now, i dont feel they need this extra level of stress and "marriage counceling" on what is essentially non-existant data fluttering about out in the open sky.

Well, the only thing I could find on the subject was Camate's reply to this thread: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...s-I-went-there Unfortunately, there is still no confirmation of whether a married couple will be able to share a room with shared privileges (such as adding and removing furniture) - I really hope this is the case as my partner and I are already planning our in-game wedding and we've already set up our room together (I'm technically the 'owner' of the room and my bf just directs me where to put things ). Having shared privileges would help a great deal.

This is what I'm doing right now with my gf. She has a room, and I help get stuff for it. I can't rearrange anything, but all I can do is just say something like, "It should go here."
