Reading the post on the forums for 3 months shows that FF14 is dying steadily!

What kind of person is lame enough to come and check the progress of a game on a weekly basis over the course of a few months just to confirm it's downfall when they don't even play it.

The game is not dieing, and its a long ways away from going free-to-play. I'm the kind of guy whose personality dictates that he comes to the forums and states his complaints in as civilized a manner as possible (although sometimes I get heated). On rare instances, I might actually post twice on the same issue without knowing it due to coming back after a long hiatus. Regardless, the game is not dieing, but does need to evolve to keep itself from that fate in the long run.

The atma grind and the hunts are steps in the right direction that just unfortunately have a flawed execution. The problems of the atma grind is well documented at this point as well as the hunts, which were simply designed to accommodate a number of people far less than what is currently going after them. People aren't leaving in droves over them. Instead, they are complaining non-stop about them. That is a bit different than what you'd see if the game were dieing.

You should know that not all of the players post on forums , numbers of people who play and can't login sometimes because of massive players are playing , tell alot that this game is far away from dying .

I thought this was a joke thread. The very small percentage of people who post on here I'm sure don't speak for everyone else. With over 88k people on my server right now. I have seen maybe 2 others from there other than me posting here. Here you might like this site too: http://weeklyworldnews.com/
