PS4 disk drive is broken, what to do now?

Hello. My PS4 ejected my disk and now I can't reinsert it. I will be sending it in for repair or replacement. My question is, can I download a free version of the launcher for my PC and use my SE account on it to play? Or do I have to buy another digital copy? And if I buy a DD, can I use the SE account to play the game, and use my character, items, etc? Please help.

turn your ps4 over on its top.

then slap the bottom of it with your palm dont do it super hard but 4 times should be good enough and try the disk drive again.

I heard there was a similar problem like that happening to ps4 drives.

If you want to play on PC you need to purchace PC version of the game (you can get boxed ones really cheap) and once you install it you can simply login to the same SE Service account as the one you're using on PS4 so all your characters and progress will be there - you'd need only to re-create your hotbars, gear sets and macros as those are stored localy and not server side. You'll also receive another 30 days of playtime.

This is precisely why I am downloading every game from now on. I've had horrible luck with disc drives in the past. I do miss having a huge collection to show off though.
