Option to hide FC short name?

Would it be nicer if people have the option to hide their FC names, the one after their character name?

You mean hide your own from other people? Or hide all the FC names of other characters on your screen?

For the former, I wouldn't use it, but an option would seem ok.

For the later, I agree. I'd actually like if it gave us a set of three options for displaying Free Company names:
Show them for everyone
Show them only for members of my own FC
Don't show them for anyone

I like knowing when someone I see is in my FC, but if they're not, then what FC they are in just isn't of much interest to me (and certainly not worth all the screen clutter it causes).

I too would like to hide the <FC> names that display on other players.
I would also like to hide the auto away red chair icon for other players. The less name clutter the better IMO.

I'd much rather we go back to using the "pearl" or logo like 1.0.

If you don't want name clutter turn off the names all together. The only time you see these things is in the open world where its often advantageous to know what FC someone is from. Hiding titles wouldn't be a bad thing though, its all epeen anyway.
