Odd Question re: starting class

Hi there,

I have an odd question and stems from wanting to give my character a little rp story background.

I have totally forgotten what class I started as. Is there a way to see this? I know I was in Ul'dah and was either Gladiator or Pugilist :s

Yeah I know I started in Ul'dah, but I mean can I tell what class I started as. It was either PUG or GLD, and I can't remember :s lol

Guess if I can't remember I can make it up, but I am just curious

You can go to Lodestone and check your achievement history. The first class to get level 5 and 10 achievements will be your starting class.

Checked your lodestone profile, Gladiator is your first class. You got level 10 achievement for that class first before Pugilist.

Well, as your join date is 2011, that means you're almost definitely a 1.0 player, hence if you're interested in finding out what class you started as back in 1.0, still on your Lodestone profile, on it's main page, click 'Sixth Astral Era' button, and look through the list of 1.0 Lodestone achievements (you can actually do this even if you're not logged in, depending on your privacy settings) - it will include any levelling you did in 1.0, and hence whatever was the class you first gained exp in, would have been the class you probably started 1.0 as.

EDIT: hmm, after checking your Lodestone page, it seems you don't have 'Sixth Astral Era' button listed on your profile, as shown here on my character's Lodestone profile (whom I transferred from 1.0) - did you start from scratch on ARR's launch instead of transferring your 1.0 character? If so, disregard my previous comments, as they're only useful for a character transferred into the game from 1.0 and hence, is not relevant to a new character. Ah well.

Why not make a background story on how you came into using your fist from your sword like "One day you broke your sword in the middle of a heated battle then as a last resort you thrusted your bare hands right at the monster, killing it in a single blow. Realizing your true potential lies in your fists, not your arms you decided to develop your martial arts skill as a pugilist, etcetc." Creativity helps a lot for RP development.

I like that I was a 1.0 player but started fresh with friends on 2.0. Think I deleted all old characters as they weren't super developed.
