Actually, the only type of person that think they are the same are people who can't comprehend the actual difference that exists between both classes.Let's just pretend that WoW wasn't the biggest MMO of its time that not only popularized the genre but also made various mechanics, designs, and structures a staple in the vast majority of future games, including FF14.
It would be cool if this discussion didn't even happen. Any objective person who actually played Afflock and SMN know they're the same thing. All the people who never touched WoW are the first to say otherwise.
