It doesn't matter. More than likely the most you will be competing with is two people, unless your parties consist of nothing but DRG, MNK, and NIN. You can have 100 jobs that use those accessories, but doesn't matter when you have four DPS in your party (normal setup). Can have 2 BRD and 2 NIN all lotting against each other also if they were on DEX.

Ninja will benefit from str and dex allowing. Str for physical and dex for magic/ranged.

Ninja will be STR its pretty easy to see the assumptions of why, the second class they have already developed, Musketeer will be DEX, which makes much more sense than ninja.
