If it has DEX, get it.Hi all,
I'm new to FFXIV (started 2 weeks ago) and just started planning when the 2.4 patch and picked up Rogue/Ninja as main. I just hit 50 and was wondering what I should be equipping my NIN with after 50? What equipment should I be aiming for like every 10 ilvls? What dungeons, primals, etc should I be spamming to get my equipment. Pretty overwhelmed right now with all these difference currencies and such.
Syrus Tower - i100
Soldiery - i100 (upgrade to i110)
Second Coil of Bahamut: Turns 1-4 - i110
Poetic - i120 (possible upgrade to i130)
Final Coil of Bahamut: Turns 1-4 - i130

Also turn 5 of coil drops a weapon which has better stats then the Relic Zenith. It is a lvl 95 weapon
I would say that if you want to get into coil and such quickly to just get soldiery gear for now and can always use it on Monk later on should you decide to take that up.
Also there is ilv90 Gear that is craftable and can actually have materia slotted into them.
Saurian Gloves of Striking and Saurian Belt of Striking for instance. If you know of any crafters it may be worthwhile to go that route until you have enough Poetics

Anyone bothered to set BiS for NIN ?
Iv been trying a few options but not sure wich one to pick and wanted to see what u guys came up with.
Thats taking stats we want is Crit but i still wonder between Crit and Det ;/

Something like this - http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OD8Q
Ninja have a very good equip stat wise = there is almost no choice between crit and det, as acc+crit/det is better that crit/det+skillspeed and your biggest problem is how to get acc cap without sacrificing crit/det too much.

Accuracy is too low. You need 535 for flank at leastSomething like this - http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OD8Q

So....is NIN "ping-unfriendly"? or not so much?
Usually assassin's kind of classes requires a low & constant ping with no spikes for fast skill input (like mundras).
Can this class be played efficiently with say...200+ ms ping? or better stay away from this?
Can macroing mundras aliviate some of it?.....the 1.5 secs lost with the macro would still be better than a 20secs botched ninjitsu because the game didn't register one of your mundras?
