    Eluder Explanation

    I have been looking for a detailed explanation for which mobs each "Eluder" ability works for, and couldn't find any. Each guild sells one and it seems to cover pretty much every mob category. Has somebody experience with those / can list the mobs each works for?

    Here's a list of all of them (Guild it is bought from):

    Ashkin Eluder (Weaver)
    Beastkin Eluder (Miner)
    Cloudkin Eluder (Carpenter)
    Forgekin Eluder (Alchemist)
    Scalekin Eluder (Leatherworker)
    Seedkin Eluder (Botanist)
    Soulkin Eluder (Blacksmith)
    Spoken Eluder (Armorer)
    Vilekin Eluder (Culinarian)
    Voidsent Eluder (Goldsmith)
    Wavekin Eluder (Fisher)

    I have seedkin and scalekin.

    The moves make the target not aggro to you or de-aggro.

    Seedkin works on like flytraps, terotraps (the plant flower mobs).

    Scalekin works on drakes.

    IMO these abilities are really nice and work, yet they have 8min cooldown. When you switch to your DoL class the timers on them reset and you have to wait 8mins to use. So unless you have been on the class for awhile it's really not helpful to just run past mobs, your better off just using quickstride and running lol.

    @Shyd: thx a lot for ur answer. I knew the part about de-aggro and seedkin and scalekin seem clear. Yet the others (esp. Spoken, Soulkin, Forgekin, Ashkin) seem unclear to me exactly what mobs they work on. Do you have an idea?

    Wavekin - Aquans
    Scalekin - Reptiles
    Vilekin - Insects/Evil?
    Beastkin - Animals/Insects? (Chigoes drop Beastkin Blood.)
    Soulkin - Ghosts/Elementals?
    Ashkin - Dragons?
    Forgekin - Bombs/Machines?
    Spoken - Humanoids
    Voidsent - Undead/Demons?

    Awesome!! Thx a bunch! That means that beastmen go in the "Spoken" category I would assume?

    One thing tho:
    Dragons are Scalekin aren't they?
    Ashkin could be bombs or skeletons maybe?

    Yea ashkin should be skeletons and zombies stuff like that.

    Scalekin are like drakes, peisti, raptor.

    Here a list of ASSUMPTIONS based on your list (please correct me if you feel/know otherwise):

    Seedkin - Funguar, Traps, Sylphs
    Cloudkin - Birds
    Wavekin - Orobons, Toads, Efts?
    Scalekin - Drakes, Peiste, Raptors
    Vilekin - Gnats, Swarms
    Beastkin: Antelope Stags, Hogs, Wolves, Hyenas
    Soulkin - Bogies (those that look like flying sperm lol), Elementals
    Ashkin - Bombs, Skeletons
    Forgekin - Machines
    Spoken - Footpads, Buccaneers, Ixali, Amalj'aa
    Voidsent - Puddings, Imps (yet, Voidsent blood item drops off chigoe in the leve "Volatile Vitals"?)

    I just got the ability but I haven't used it yet, however it does confuse me a tad. I thought that it was an ability you use on yourself and you would gain a status effect that causes those mobs not to engage you for a set amount of time. Though it appears you target a mob and can evade just the one? I am gonna run out to check it out but I think the more logical use would to make these skills mp based with a perp cost. You use seedkin eluder 30 to activate and it would tick at 5mp and while your mp is ticking you can't restore mp unless you deactivate said ability. I think that would at least make it more useful, for the only other active ability a gather can use it is kinda lackluster lol. Though maybe my response will change when I try it on the field.

    Yep, it is an ability you cast on one mob, and this mob will not aggro you (lose aggro).
    The ability as a recast timer of 10 minutes, however.

    Yes, I agree that an MP-based ability casted on urself would be interesting. But since SE is planning to add a stealth skill I assume that they have something in mind that will address this. Hopefully that skill will be implemented very soon!! :-)

    Eluder skills are very unuseful right now. they are 10 sec duration and 10m recast. A waste of points unless 1.19 or beyond changes the skill.
