Mapping of the 'tab' key.

Just a heads up, my girlfriend has recently discovered while mapping her keys that it's impossible to map the 'Tab' key to something else - whenever she tries, it simply goes to the next tab (eg. Targeting, Movement, etc). You may wish to either fix it so you can't change the mapping of that 'Tab' key, or even better, disable 'Tab' changing the tabs when you are mapping keys.

There's a few keys that are unchangeable. It actually drives me crazy. I (maybe because of FFXI) walk with numpad and usually turn my camera with arrow keys (with my thumb, right hand). I can't reassign arrow keys in this game. I have to turn with A) mouse or B) ijkl. Retarded. Pisses me off. There's a larger list of what I'd like to be able to hotkey and not be locked out of changing (i.e. everything) but this one really irks my nerves.

The inability to map the arrows keys for the reason you mentioned above is my #1 irritation in FFXIV. I swear to the Twelve, I wish to be able to control my character's movement and camera view with one hand!!!!

I know right? I'm a total one handed walker. Walk with fingers, camera with thumb. On other games, I'll walk with mouse (left+right click, turning by moving mouse). Can't do that in this game either. So, it's walk with 2 hands or don't walk.

I ran into the same issue with the Tab key. It's not a fixed key and so theoretically you should be able to remap it to whatever you want but as soon as you go to assign tab to any function it just moves to the next tab in the window and doesn't assign. Very frustrating. I would really like to see this fixed...along with the other control/key mapping issues.

THANK YOU!!!! OMG please unlock the arrow keys to be mapped to what ever "WE" want them to be, not what SE wants them to be, because SE obviously DOES NOT play the game or they would realize the current restricted keys screw everything up. I want to see the locked keys section disappear completely, please make this happen!
