Hello, I added two major features :

- Calendars can be public :
In that case visitors will be able to see your events without having to be logged in Allgenda. You have to go to "Settings" / "My groups" / "Agendas" to manage the access rights on your calendars.

- Event's management can be restricted to a raid leader : when you create an event you can tell who among the community leaders will be able to manage the event (edit, remove, organize participants). Group admins keep these rights too. With this feature you can give the rights to create events to all your members and make sure that they will not mess with each other stuff.

There is a good synergy between these two features. If you want you can organize cross guild events from a public forum, the public will be able to see these events and the members will be able to sign up or create their own
events.

Is there an API available for this? I'd love to create a fancy Windows app for this utilizing the APIs to run on W10m, W10, Xbox One, etc.

Yes but the API is very limited.
You can use a webservice to retrieve the X next events of a given group / calendar. You only get the title, the start and end time, the url of the event icon and the number of "available" signed up members.

I think I should change the Job icons to be more readable.
I've made these 4 proposals with the icons in real use/real size in the calendar.

- Set #1. This is the current one :



- Set #2 with job symbols on a colored background :



- Set #3 with job symboles without background :



- Set #4 with job's soul cristals :




Which set do you prefer ?

Use them with the background color that the game uses when presenting them, like so:


What you want is to quickly be able to identify which job it is.

Some feedback on the ones you posted:
#1:
Makes no sense why'd you go with that.

#2:
While this one is alright, it doesn't work that well in the tabs.

#3:
This one is ok, but you should reconsider your background colors if you go with this.
(See my suggestion above)

#4:
Almost worse than #1.


As a side note, you are aware that you can set a signature on the forums right?
I couldn't help but notice that you are ending every single post with your name and your website, which is the entire purpose of having a signature.

Interesting suggestion. I will do it to see how it renders inside the tabs, though I have to keep the tab colors because they have a meaning (yellow if for uncertain, green for available, there is also red for unavailable and light green for "available if necessary").

I did this as a placeholder when there was no icons to be found for heavensward new jobs.

#4: Almost worse than #1.

Interesting, some users are pushing for this one because they say that the job / role is immediately recognizable with the cristal's shape / color.

As a side note, you are aware that you can set a signature on the forums right?

This is quite an interesting project you have! Going to look into it a bit more, and see if it's something that would work for my FC.

As for the icons, #3 is the cleanest, but might be trickier to see against the wrong colour. #2 seems like the easiest to make out. There's also a version of #2 icons that has a different background colour inside the little square depending on if it's tank/dps/healer, which might be something to consider.

Hard to choose. There are good points for almost each of the sets. At least I'm sure that I have to change from the current one ;-)
