Adding to that: What's the point of reaching rank 50 when you can do ALL of the late-game "content" with rank 45+?

Right, your original post didn't exactly touch on your lament of there being no rank 50 gear that is "better" than lower rank gear. Except that of course, the Champion's lance is rank 50 and is the best lance out there... but lets just forget that!

It seems you would be happier if the level requirement for the second raid was 50, instead of 45. Then you would feel great motivation to get up so you could get in. First, I think there are many people who would not invite someone who wasn't rank 50 to join them on these raids, so perhaps you are lucky but it would definetly be easier at a higher rank. Second, the benefit of having the raid at lower rank is that the lower-rank characters can sp rewards which is meaningless at rank 50.

If you really enjoyed the raid, you could rank up doing that. You could rank up trying to get crafting mats by fighting harder mobs, which have a better drop rate. By being higher rank you can more effectively help your friends out when they need help with NMS, farm stuff, participate in high-rank content.

If these things don't appeal to you, then its your prerogative to do whatever you want; be that quit, rank a new job or wait for new content to come out.

And again. Why should I participate in your "Events" if the only reward i can get is r50 gear? Fighting Monsters to get r50 gear to get other r50 gear to get more r50 gear is not appealing to me.

What is there to do in an MMO besides get gear and do story quests? ... Really? I don't see the point to this thread lmfao... I mean yeah theres barely any story quests but that because they are trying to fix everything else.. Just try it out, do the dungeons, get the gear and have as much fun as you can, it's a game yeah?
