Suggestion: Potted plants

I have a problem with gardening as it is now. In a large FC, I can't garden because of the restrictions that are in place. I really want to work on getting the Mandragora pets, however my FC is focused on making Chocobo food.

My suggestion is a potted plant arrangement (big enough for cross breeding) for a personal chamber. It would allow some of us to grow what we want.

I'd bet we will get our own gardens, but potted plants would work almost as well.

Yes they had this in FFXI and was nice. Would still be nice for those who will most likely not be able to afford the many millions it will cost for a personal house.

I am wholeheartedly behind this. Won't lie, I am married to Dragonflyy/Jasla, and this was an idea we have discussed at length in real life. Because as it stands right now, the major gardeners in our FC are all gardening to provide Chocobo Feed for the FC ---- and it's nowhere near enough feed and we don't have enough room to garden for pets, either. And gardening for the pets feels selfish, too.

All around, this is NOT a good thing for FC morality and friendship. Because there are going to be those people who maybe aren't into gardening or chocobo raising, but are pet collectors and want the Mandragora pets. OR those folks who are VERY into their Chocobo raising, and feel slighted that training items aren't accessible to them because there isn't enough to go around.

I really believe "Potted Plants" in rooms would be a great solution to this and it really needs to happen.

I like the idea of plant pots, absolutely! It can come in sizes of 1, 2, and 3 plots (for standard planting or crossbreeding) and have varieties for floor, tabletop, or wall planters as well!

Exactly! This was the thought I had in mind, too, and I think it would put a lot of versatility in gardening and make it a lot more fun. And it makes it so gardening is also a decorative thing, too.

100% agree. I don't blame FC's for only leaving gardening to certain people but it cuts a lot of members out of the option to do so. Not only that but if person 1 wants glaze nuts, person two wants broombrush and 5 others want krakka roots well.. theres not enough garden.. especially in a small where you only get one garden. Even if your fc just devoted to chocobo feed if its a large company it would be hard to keep to the demand. Many FC members don't have the option to garden and even the things being gardened usually go to the FC not to one personally so it seems important to add personal gardening to rooms, it was done in XI too and would give people more of a reason to spend that 300k on a personal room to grow their own glazenuts, minions, brushes ect. (especially with the amount of time required in cross breeding just to make some of the items you need for crafting)
