Birthday in game gift! can we have it?

Some games have a birthday reward system(in-game date) will be nice if in future updates,Yoshi-P can inplement this feature... you can't believe this but... this system can motivate even more all eorzeans! some example of rewards is....

-Special outfit
-Gil(like 150,000)
-1 LV up for all classes or a item pack with 5 itens that you can use and gain 1 lv but yes, limited per class(i know some games with this)
-Annunciation in a special board( something like hunt board but for birthday system)

I hope we can have this ^.^ if you have ideas please say it!

The only MMO's I've seen with birthday systems tend to be the super-chibi, F2P animu types.

Not saying it's a *horrible* idea, just, not really a good precedent.

There is some MMO that have this system(like Atlantica Online) but in my point of view, there is no bad side with this implementation... but yes, their can put something more interesting than birthday system.

While I dont think this is a bad idea, I do think the OP's suggestions are a bit over powered.
Maybe like a "birthday cake" food item and 5 or 10 free teleport vouchers would be better. Something that doesn't break the game but is kind of a pleasant thing to get on your characters nameday.

Honestly, I have to call this a bad idea. Mostly cause it's not going to be what the originator thinks it will be if they even implemented such an idea. For starters, it'd NOT be anything worth mentioning, like a lame looking/cosmetic item if it's even an equipable item to begin with. More than likely, it'd just be a 'cake' food or firework item that gives you a birthday cake slice in your hand for a moment and that'd be all she wrote. Expecting a better item than what you'd get for the rarer in-game events is folly.

Guild Wars gave you a gift each year on the day you made the character. It was usually a vanity pet or costume thing I think.
