    [Quest] Forever Taken - Progression Broken

    Geez, I hope I'm doing this right...

    The main story quest 'Forever Taken' seems to be broken. Having completed the quest's objectives, I've returned to the Waking Sands in Ul'dah, where I was told to go to the main hall for some sort of formal address.

    However, the door into the main hall (normally opens into a large room with a few NPCs) .. does not open. What does happen, however, is I 'catch' just before reaching the door, and the UI disappears, as if a cutscene or area transfer were about to occur. .. Only for the UI to reappear and control to be returned to me as if nothing had happened.

    I have spoken with every relevant NPC I can find, checked walkthroughs on the subject, made certain I have not missed any objectives, and tried exiting and re-entering the Waking Sands, as well as restarting the client. The only thing I haven't tried is going through the quest with another character, as none of my alts are really anywhere near Forra's level.

    I'm fairly confident something may be broken. This really is a bit of a sod, given it's keeping me from continuing the storyline.

    Okay.. so.. came back on a day later (the issue occurred last night) .. and now it works.

    I'm glad to hear that you were able to get past it with no problem now! It's best to report it to us though, just in case. If there's any other issue or concern, let us know!
