The next stage of the Relics. Novus -> ????

So what do you think the next stage of the relic is gonna be called? Due to the different meanings in the past stages, dont really see a pattern unless im missing something.

Also, how do you think the Novus progression is gonna affect the next stage, even though we'll have the chance to respec our Novus, though I doubt it will be something simple. Probably they'll have us do the entire process again if we want different stats.

Now the question is... WHY would you want repeat such a tedious task?

A reason im probably thinking is that depending on our relic's secondary stat distribution, our relics are going to go another appearance change and I dont mean the glow, but a literal transformation for the relics.

Relics with no fully melded stats will probably either retain the current Relic forms but with more glow, or a small aesthetic change while relics with fully melded stats all the way to the last Grade IV materia will influence what kind of shape that relic would take.

Would be complicated but it would make sense. No sane man would spend millions again just respec these weapons, in my opinion. How would you like that kind of weapon progression, it would certainly bring up the relic to the next level, tho I do admit I see this as a final step of everything.

I honestly hadn't thought of what could be next for the relic upgrade since I'm still at about 50/75 on my novus. But now that they have let us customize the stats by choosing which materia to infuse where can they possibly go from here? It seems like every upgrade is now going to have to include materia melding to continue with the stat customization. Which is going to get old(and expensive) real quick.

Or if the next step doesn't need more materia, will the quest just give an X amount increase to the stats you decided to go with? I can imagine the outrage if you upgrade it next and it has a completely new look and it wipes out all your materia. I'm sure they have it planned out already and since they seemingly want to make it take as long as possible with tons of grinding I just don't see where they go from here.

Well I can say if they keep the system they've made now I'm certainly not going to do the process more than once, screw new and secondary jobs lol.

Mind numbing supreme random and expensive - what comes next if similar would probably convince me to just drop relic all together. Benefit being at least they would now be rare, I imagine others would drop relic as well so long as there are more reasonable alternatives (please. . . lol).
