Shield Scaling Between Races

So I play a Roegadyn Paladin and I have noticed that most shields seem to be really small compared to our immense size. Wondering if anyone has heard about this being addressed or not. The following image really shows how certain shields look like a toy on Roegadyns compared to other races.

I was able to check with the dev. team on the scaling of equipment for Roegadyn’s, and the size scaling is working as intended. The proportions of the upper and lower half of Roegadyn and Hyuran bodies are different in size and shape, so it appears as if the shields are the same size, but when looking at the size of equipment side by side, the Roegadyn’s gear should scale with their size.

Should you have more clear examples, please share them with us and I will reach out to the development team again. Thanks!

Not to derail the thread or anything because it's cool that we got a response form a community team member and all...but how about some info as to why all the crafting drops in the HM duties?

Your images kind of distort the fact that the Hyur and Roegadyn aren't even in scale with each other. You have a larger picture of a Hyur next to a smaller picture of a Roegadyn...which further distorts your argument that the Roe has a smaller shield.

This doesn't matter... You can clearly see the Hyur shield is from halfway up his head, past his butt. Which is not equivalent to the scale that barely covers shoulder blades to the small of the back on the Roegadyn. You can tell IMMEDIATELY that the shield isn't in scale with its own armor set skin to its respective race.

Heh, if you think this was bad, you should have seen Galka equipment in FFXI. Galka had even more exaggerated proportions than their Roegadyn counterparts in this game do. Swords held by Galka looked comically tiny, and when they would ride a Chocobo it was just hilarious.

Galka groups on choco's to the Byohda Tree were very comical! Poor birds...
