i was talking about running with two tanks, not one, and i understand your point. the only problem i have is that both healers use raise at the same time, wasting mp. single tanking, i use cure2 after a raise no matter what, because im expecting both of us to be healing, and i always start a second cure2 just in case

forget about benediction cooldown.
I would be a happier whm if that animation was shortened because so many people have died when my benediction didn't apply on time.

I mostly use it when I am holy spamming and don't want to switch out of Cleric Stance. It's pretty great to keep the momentum up, but the cooldown is fine. I would never use Cure if it were on a 1 or 2 min cooldown.

one of the things that make it great is that it doesnt take mp. you have no mp, youve already used shroud, and youre tank is almost dead(this does happen, im not making it up), how are you supposed to heal the one thing that keeps everyone alive if benediction takes so much to cast? benediction is meant to be an emergency use, hence the full heal and no mp cost or cast time

It's an "Oh no" heal. It has its uses in battle. I'll use it. All I was saying is that you shouldn't ever need to rely on Benediction. If someone is taking damage to the point of needing Benediction then they'll prolly die eventually anyways.

that might be true, but if youve gotten the boss down 30%, and youve been able to somewhat keep up with the damage, the tank is still alive, but you need a quick heal, because the tank will die in the next 3-4 hits, you still have the mp to heal, but you arent healing enough, so let him take a hit and benediction. its not about whether or not they would die either way, its about whether or not they will die in the time left before the boss dies

That's planning on using it.. which is a totally different scenario than needing to use it. I use Benediction like that all the time. Let someone take damage then use it before they die. Save yourself some MP if you're burning it up too fast. I never said it was useless. All I was trying to say was that a healer shouldn't rely on it to keep someone alive

i was saying that in regards to the fact that someone would die either way

Lustrate is on a 1 second CD. I think you mean Aetherflow because that's on a 1 minute CD.

Triple Lustrate (which is still not as directly potent as Benediction) is on a 1 minute cooldown, though there is also the potential for six straight lustrates if you've gone a minute without lustrating.
