Removing the human element, the hunts are pretty enjoyable. Though they do need a bit of tweaking, but they probably would be a tad bit of a challenge if done "as intended" rather than zerged down faster than goobue can sneeze.

It is more of the human element that is making hunts unenjoyable to others. Well, the negative human element that is ruining the hunts for others (myself included).

Can personally confirm this from experience. Was in the South Shroud earlier tonight, see a shout go out. Someone had not only -found- Ghede Ti Malice, the local A rank, but had found it by... being aggroed by it. Alone. As a monk.

Luckily a passing warrior had joined forces and taken up a spot holding its ire, I switched to paladin and joined in shortly after. Then I start noticing that my health is dropping. A lot. See, Ghede Ti is a gremlin. He does the Misery debuff. Except he does it to everyone who gets within X yalms of him. And it's a stronger version. I'm facing him as an i96 paladin in Shield Oath and he's ripping 1000 points off me at a time.

Suffice to say that with only the three of us there things were VERY hairy for a while. Even when relief showed up in the form of a few scattered DPS things were very, very touch-and-go; the original monk who found it ended up dying and having to run clear back from Quarrymill. I was supremely thankful when a lone WHM showed up and started throwing heals on me and the warrior. Even then it took something like five full minutes to finally pull him down even though we ended up with about ten players in all. Very, -very- tricky fight and -gloriously- fun.
