I... actually really like hunts

Even if it's not being used as intended, I think it's pretty great even now. You can get into it as a fresh 50, no "exp/clear required", no "wipe=kick", no special connections needed. No waiting on the duty finder. No lockout timers. Party members don't get angry, people just cooperating/coordinating searching several zones. It's something you can just do and make friends. Have fun trying to find the marks, get the kills, and so on ^^

@OP: Actually, the people complaining about Hunts are not saying that the concept is bad, they are saying that the rewards and a few gameplay mechanics are flawed.
The overall idea behind the Hunt is good, but the actual implementation is not in several ways.

I bet the hunts were intended to be an "If you happen to stumble upon a mark whilst doing something else..." addition. If this is how one plays, then you'll enjoy the hunts.

Not the typical ocd steamroll through content as fast as possible server first woot gimme gimme loots you pulled too soon wah wah. If this is how you play then you are a forum ranter.

The idea is great, but the rewards have made it hardly enjoyable. Certainly roaming around while you work on other things, finding them calling in support as needed for a small group is great. But when it is a constant zerg fest and being first to the mob means nothing with so many people piling in and killing the monster in seconds and then not getting credit for something you found? Or not getting credit because someone pulled while you waited on the last 2 guys in your group to show, or how about this nonsense of tanks taunt resetting mobs so their group can get credit f'ing over anyone already there. I'm on the OP server and have tried hunting at all times, and even in the middle of the night you still have hundreds of people running around, more manageable yes, but none the less still a zerg fest.

Because of the above, I haven't even tried it out. I'll just wait until SE makes further adjustments. I'm enjoying the new dungeons well enough, anyway.

If you in a good linkshell and fc that is constantly getting NM, of coursed you enjoying it. For less unfortunately people it a lot of stress and will get left out. Often times I find an NM, ask for invite, but instead bunch of Zerg people come and I get 5 Seals.

Then you have a problem where a certeins Linkshell and FC dominant and monopoly the area where when you come to an NM it died in seconds. Words get thrown out, name calling, dead threat, blacklist, etc. I don't see what so fun about this at all.
