It enrages me that we can not sleep in our own private rooms that we spent a lot of gil for. How do you feel about that? Will the developers ever add that option in? I mean you paid for it right? You should at least be able to sleep in it like you can in an inn.

I think he mean that you wake up in the garden after you sleeped in your room.

I think what he's talking about is the ability to retire to your room, target the bed and be presented with options to exit the game, exit to title screen, and perhaps even heck the bed (I suppose the option to examine the bed would suffice, but hecking would be more fun).

Heh, guess I'll save up my 300k for personal housing and furniture.

I thought it odd too but unlike the inn our rooms are perishable ie: if no one goes to the house for 30 days the house is relinquished. It's the reason you login at the front of the house and not in it, just as if you were to visit a vacant property up for sale you won't be able to enter the red sale area of the property.

Q41: When logging out in our private chambers and logging back in again we are placed outside of our house. Can you make it like inns so we log into our chamber?

A41: I realize there is a demand for this and we have been checking it out, but there are some technical aspects that make this somewhat difficult, so it seems it will be a bit in the future.

I was just thinking about this too the other day. I would love to just log out in my room by sleeping like I do in the in. This feature is in the game already through the inn. Why can't we add it to our personal rooms?

I'd say resources, custom personal rooms and FC houses eat a lot more resources than a static inn room.
