There are so many doing it on the Hyperion Server that during peak hours i'd be shocked if an A rank was up more than 30 seconds before finding it, and ive had several pop right in front of my face from about 6 days of hunting myself.

They need to fix render priority as a whole. Just giving certain mobs higher priority every now and again is just going to be an ongoing problem with new content. There are options in the game to see less characters on screen, hide names, all kinds of things to help with graphix/fps. They need to give the elites priority to load over characters like they did Odin and Behemoth. They did this I think, but they didn't get it right.
They simply need to make Party members & mobs the 2 highest render priorities, and other PC's as lowest.
While your "tips" in reducing render issues are valid, they are also obvious, and in the extreme case - when there are 450 people fighting an A or S rank, no amount of system config is going to fix the issue if the mob's render priority is equal to the random WHM standing next to you.
1. I agree with completely
2. wouldn't work, even during non-peak hours on my server A ranks are never up even 10 minutes before killed.
3. I completely disagree with. This would allow players to simply sit in an area and wait for the message instead of actively searching an area. In other words you would be taking what little challenge there is at the moment completely away. I definitely don't want to see this game take the same route World of Warcraft did and dummy down it's playable content to the IQ of an 8 year old.
Oh? So you expect that those groups working hard to pop that S rank shouldn't be the first ones to see it? Or are you one of those guys that /follows someone while they go looking?
S rank mobs require pop conditions (such as fishing a certain type of fish, or harvesting a certain item from an unspoiled node etc).3. I completely disagree with. It would be pretty stupid if these people work hard to pop an S rank, then don't even manage to get to it because a random FC stumbles upon it and kills it.

I really like this idea, but I wanted to make one addition:
B rank - Immune for 5 minutes after spawning + Monster damage increased by 200% + aggro range increased x3
A rank - Immune for 7 minutes after spawning + Monster damage increased by 400% + aggro range increased x4
S rank - Immune for 10 minutes after spawning + Monster damage increased by 600% + aggro range increased x5
Maybe we could call the buff they get: "Cornered Beast". So basically you woke them from a nap and they are pissed and don't feel any pain for a certain amount of time.
So long as the damage increase still makes it doable with a tank and healer, I completely agree with that suggestion. Also it would add a feel of the old FFXI days where you would be fighting a lvl 10 mob and something came over and face raped you out of nowhere that was level 50 =P
Obviously the time frame is a place holder. 30 mins is rather excessive - perhaps 10 mins would be cleaner.
I believe part of the reason Yoshi doesn't want to flat out increase a hunt's HP, due to the fact that after new content comes out - hunts will die off (at least comparatively to what they are now). Giving them such a huge HP buff now, will only mean giving them an eventual nerf in the future. Giving them a variable mechanic that allows smaller groups to kill them in the future, yet gives them enough HP to surive 150 people killing it longer then 5 seconds would be ideal.
As it was specifically mentioned, hunting crowd creates huge server load, do you want to see server crashing constantly?
And besides, you suggestion will lead to a situation where party of full ilvl110 is the only one that gets credit (or no parties get full credit at all). It's already hard enough in prime time to get full credit even with a good party, and you are literally inviting half of the server to mark location.
With current situation this will lead to a lot of rage because it's almost impossible to dodge AoE with all this lags and crowds. And damage increase will just oneshot everyone in it.
We already have a situation when BRD, BLM, WHM and tanks are "preferred" for hunts, and you are just proposing to make it even worse.
