No, we need LESS people on a single mob, not more.

They buffed the hp of the elites because they died too fast from my understanding. It takes forever to solo a B rank (if that's even possible anymore). I'm assuming their intent was not to have less people on an elite, but to allow more people to get credit because there are so many hunting them. Also as long as this is the fastest way to get allied seals & you can use those seals to help along the way for weapon relic quest, & to un-weather all armor and accessories, it means the population that is grouping up to hunt these elites are not going to die down any time soon if at all.
There are options in the game to see less characters on screen, hide names, all kinds of things to help with graphix/fps. They need to give the elites priority to load over characters like they did Odin and Behemoth. They did this I think, but they didn't get it right.
Immunity would mean people would have time to group up even if they were solo and just in the area, allowing people to get credit where credit is due. I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone find an elite solo then can't get into a group before the pull & only get 1 seal on a B rank, or 3 seals on an A rank, while the 1st group that got there after the find gets full credit for 8 members.
They need to fix render priority as a whole. Just giving certain mobs higher priority every now and again is just going to be an ongoing problem with new content. There are options in the game to see less characters on screen, hide names, all kinds of things to help with graphix/fps. They simply need to make Party members & mobs the 2 highest render priorities, and other PC's as lowest.
While your "tips" in reducing render issues are valid, they are also obvious, and in the extreme case - when there are 450 people fighting an A or S rank, no amount of system config is going to fix the issue if the mob's render priority is equal to the random WHM standing next to you.
