There are so many doing it on the Hyperion Server that during peak hours i'd be shocked if an A rank was up more than 30 seconds before finding it, and ive had several pop right in front of my face from about 6 days of hunting myself.

Let me add to that -
1. Fix render priority. Monsters / Party Members / NPCs > Alliance members (when open world alliances are possible) > Other PC's.
--- In other words, other players around you should be the ones to vanish, NOT monsters or party members.
2. Increase hunt monster's HP substantially.
--- In addition to this, in order to combat the inability for low man groups to kill, B and A rank hunts should gain 1 vulnerability stack for every 30 mins that they are up and unclaimed.
3. Add some form of zone-wide cue that alerts people that an S rank has just spawned. (Whether it be a message that pops up on the screen, weather effect, etc).
Oh? So you expect that those groups working hard to pop that S rank shouldn't be the first ones to see it? Or are you one of those guys that /follows someone while they go looking?
S rank mobs require pop conditions (such as fishing a certain type of fish, or harvesting a certain item from an unspoiled node etc).3. I completely disagree with. This would allow players to simply sit in an area and wait for the message instead of actively searching an area. In other words you would be taking what little challenge there is at the moment completely away. I definitely don't want to see this game take the same route World of Warcraft did and dummy down it's playable content to the IQ of an 8 year old.
It would be pretty stupid if these people work hard to pop an S rank, then don't even manage to get to it because a random FC stumbles upon it and kills it.

if they require pop conditions why does hunt scholars tell you different things about "popping" them in different languages settings? Rank A+ B mobbs also have "pop conditions" told by hunt scholars but they just repop after x amount of time, i think its just the same with S ranks.

There are always ppl walking with their pets to summon nandi, hundreds without success or hundreds of players jumping off cliffs to summon safrat, douzens of ppl cooking in central thanalan without success, hundreds of ppl doing the northern thanalan fate multiple times without seeing the S rank. There are 24/7 ppl who try to trigger sth and when an S pops (just by random) the one out of 100 guys without success really thinks he triggered it

This is very true. A lot of the members of my LS on Excalibur think S ranks are timed spawns just like A & B.if they require pop conditions why does hunt scholars tell you different things about "popping" them in different languages settings? 1. I agree with completely
2. wouldn't work, even during non-peak hours on my server A ranks are never up even 10 minutes before killed.

Obviously the time frame is a place holder. 30 mins is rather excessive - perhaps 10 mins would be cleaner.
I believe part of the reason Yoshi doesn't want to flat out increase a hunt's HP, due to the fact that after new content comes out - hunts will die off (at least comparatively to what they are now). Giving them such a huge HP buff now, will only mean giving them an eventual nerf in the future. Giving them a variable mechanic that allows smaller groups to kill them in the future, yet gives them enough HP to surive 150 people killing it longer then 5 seconds would be ideal.
they already increased the hp of all marks, it didn't fix what they intended to, which was to allow the elites to live longer. They've already stated they're not going to do another hp buff on the elites. If they keep the hp at what it is now, then a B rank dies at a decent pace to a party of about 4. A ranks you need about 16 and S ranks the same they just take longer to kill.
The problem lies in this.... Until a new major patch hits that increases how you get allied seals or makes them obsolete, Then this is the fastest way to complete weapon relic, obtain i110 armor and accessories. This patch hit only 2 weeks(ish) ago, the people wanting to hunt elites will only increase and then level off til next patch. The amount of people hunting right now isn't the leveled off amount. Most A ranks on my server would be dead within 2 min of spawn if people weren't courteous enough to wait on others.

I really like this idea, but I wanted to make one addition:
B rank - Immune for 5 minutes after spawning + Monster damage increased by 200% + aggro range increased x3
A rank - Immune for 7 minutes after spawning + Monster damage increased by 400% + aggro range increased x4
S rank - Immune for 10 minutes after spawning + Monster damage increased by 600% + aggro range increased x5
Maybe we could call the buff they get: "Cornered Beast". So basically you woke them from a nap and they are pissed and don't feel any pain for a certain amount of time.
