Sometimes you just have to see for yourself.

From the beginning I stuck in the Japanese server group because I had a feeling NA would be full of selfish, entitled idiot players with bad attitudes. I guess an easier way to say it would be toxic, but that buzzword is annoying these days, I hear.

I decided to give it a shot. Last week I made a character on Jenova just to get a feel for the NA server group.

On Masamune, I had only had a bad experience in duty finder about three times in 6 months. This past week on Jenova? About four already. A tank left after one pull in a lowbie dungeon, likely used duty roulette and wanted a fast run. Two instances of petty arguments with players acting like children, flinging accusations and boasting like I've never seen before. Last, my black mage friend got kicked after the first boss of brayflox normal because he was a "noob." When I stopped attacking mobs in response, I was a noob, too. When confronted they acted like a couple of immature jocks with buck teeth in high school. I simply left after some choice sarcastic words.

All the time I see complaints in these forums about bad duty finder experiences, and it makes me wonder. Why do we, as NA players, suck so much?
